All the different colors popping out of the old buildings really catch my attention. This happens every time I need to walk somewhere. We have been here for almost two months now and I still find myself losing track of time taking pictures and admiring these cute little pieces of art.
When thinking of Malta and its architecture it's impossible not automatically mention the colorful balconies. I think they completely define the maltese streets, giving them a very unique character.
One of the things I enjoy the most is walk around and appreciate all their beauty. You can find them in different colors and shades and even the details vary from one another. It's like each one has their particular character. Some look more romantic in light colors and with beautiful flowers blossoming from the roof. Others are just varnished wood which gives them a rustic touch. Personally, I prefer the ones in lighter colors and would totally love to live in one of the three first pictures bellow.
I can even imagine myself there, enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or reading a book. Or simply imagine a romantic movie taking place on these colorful streets. Wouldn't it be the perfect scenario? I mean.... I would watch the movie only to fall in love once again with these cuties.
Malta has a lot of things to fall in love with, the balconies are the first one I share here on the blog. If you want to take a look on more, follow me on instagram (@lostinbluesea). You will, for sure, find a lot more to love in Malta.
